Bramhall
The works comprised a rear extension and remodelling on the ground floor of an existing 1930’s detached house to give a larger kitchen/dining area and living space.
A new contemporary open plan kitchen and dining area with feature lighting was designed to open up into the garden at the rear of the house and link to a new terrace area raised above the garden level. The extension also provides additional storage and utility space at basement level with a new external staircase giving direct access from the garden.
The extension is of masonry construction with a white rendered finish and a zinc roof with patent glazed roof lights allowing natural light into the existing kitchen area. In addition to this, large folding/sliding doors from both the kitchen/dining and living room areas open onto the natural stone terrace area and water feature, providing an external dining area which links internal and external spaces.
