The studios are located on the ground and first floor in a refurbished commercial unit in the Timberwharf scheme built by Urban Splash in Castlefield.

The works included refurbishment and alteration of existing commercial unit to provide studio office facilities for audio post-production work, audio composition, video editing and video post-production work.

The proposals provided an audio studio on the ground floor with a main control room area and associated audio studio. Access to the rear terrace area is through the studio area. A new ground floor accessible wc was provided with a ground floor office to the street frontage becoming a flexible workspace area and meeting space.

At the mezzanine floor level the existing void was infilled with a new concrete floor area and partitions installed to provide two video editing suites and a separate creative workspace studio area.
