The site is located on Liverpool Road in Manchester City Centre and is located within Castlefield Conservation Area. Design proposals were to provide a relaxed coffee shop and dining space with open plan seating on the upper floors with new servery counter and kitchen accommodation on the ground floor.

The scope of building works included a high quality modest sized rear extension with a change from brickwork to cladding material on the top floor; a new contemporary shopfront facing onto Liverpool Road; new preparation area, staircase, staff/ambulant disabled WC and a lobby for fire escape and deliveries. New fish and chip shop equipment and cooking range/servery counter was also provided as part of the works together with new mechanical extract ventilation system. At first floor level there is a small coffee shop with new servery counter and access up to the second floor level a dining area and wc's. The fit-out works on site were carried out as a design and build contract.
